04/06/07 - En Route

05/06/07 - Nazca

At Nazca, there's really only one thing to do - i.e. take a flight
to see the funny lines - this is apparently a (friendly) astronaut

06/06/07 - Puno

07/06/07 - Around Puno

Puno's on Lake Titicaca, where people live on floating islands made of reeds, powered by solar energy and funded by tourists
They genuinely move around on boats like this, in addition to the normal sort with engines
There's even a hotel where you can stay - we didn't
The other nearby site is some Inca and pre-Inca tombs

08/06/07 - En Route

Manual tricycle rickshaws in Puno

09/06/07 - Cuzco

This is a monastery in Cuzco - San Something, probably Francisco
Typical Colonial Architecture

10/06/07 - Pisaq

Milla apparently about to kiss an alpaca called Hermano
Strangely non-Christian wall paintings in the church in Pisaq
And the locals are all dressed up for church (and the tourists).
Our first real set of Inca ruins are at (i.e. way above) Pisaq
... and arenīt they good!!
Perhaps we don't need to go to Machu Picchu after all ...
